Britney is not the only celebrity who loves sewing, former 'X Factor' judge turned fashion designer Dannii Minogue has revealed she used to take fashion tips from her grandmother, who taught her how to customize outfits on the sewing machine.

She said: "I remember learning my love of fashion and design from my grandmother. She had six children and loved making her own things on the sewing machine, which gave me a good grounding in pattern cutting and how outfits are put together.

"Knowing how to sew is a godsend when it comes to personalising outfits. Being petite and curvy, I often need to shorten things and get them nipped in. Kylie's a much better sewer than me."
